Apple's free digital audio mixing application, AU Lab, can be used as a host application for Audio Unit effects, including the AURoundTripAAC plugin, one of the Apple Digital Mastering tools. If you don't already have Logic or another Audio Unit host application, download AU Lab to get started with auditioning your audio, detecting peaks and clipping, and performing double-blind listening tests.

Yesterday I made a recording with my audio interface Focusrite Saffire and Logic without problems. In the evening I tried to open Logic without any audio interfaces connected, but it froze on the opening image with the text:'updating audio units plug-ins'.
I also tried with my other interface, Behringer X32, and I had the same problem.
I have already removed plugins from machintosh hd/library/audio/plugins/contents but I still have the same problem. Apple version of photoshop.

I tried also disabling Core Audio; in a first moment it worked, then now it does not open at all.
